Film Main Info

In the 70s, a group of schoolboys playing at creating their own secret base write 'The Book of Prophecy', a pact between all of them to save the world from an imagined apocalypse.

Twenty years later, their childhood fantasy is little more than a fond memory. Former member Kenji (Toshiaki Karasawa) is busy with his family and a job at a convenience store, when suddenly a series of events uncannily resembling their long-forgotten prophecies begin to unfold.

In Chapters 1 and 2, Kenji and his gang battle the mysterious villain FRIEND, whom we are led to believe through flashbacks could have been one of the lonely children who tried to befriend them during their schooldays.

In the final chapter to this sci-fi epic, the year is 2017 and FRIEND has been governing for three years. Under threat of an alien invasion, FRIEND declares that only his believers will be spared.

Based on the popular award-winning manga series by Naoki Urasawa, this is the suspense-packed conclusion to a mind-blowing manga trilogy.

Recap of Chapter 1 & 2 is shown at the start of this film for those who haven't watched them.
