Film Main Info

A faithful pastors’ daughter is kidnapped and fast forward eight years later, Young-soo (Kim Myung-min) has lost his faith, both in the possibility of his daughter being alive, and in being a man of the cloth. Separated from his wife, he has stopped looking for his daughter, in contrast to his wife who still searches for her and hands out ‘Missing’ leaflets.

Then, he gets a call from the kidnapper.

This marks the beginning of a tense thriller where Young-soo is revitalised in his search for his daughter, and must amass the ransom amount, stopping at nothing to get back his daughter whom, to him, has just come back from the dead. Yet the harder he tries, the further he gets and his rage and desire for revenge just builds more and more as he travels towards self-destruction.

The original Korean title of the film is aptly “The Destroyed Man”.
